Tentang Jurnal Ini
LEXANTARA: Journal of Law, Business and Investment is an English-language scholarly journal with law as its primary discipline, published under Adhikara Publisher. It examines legal questions arising from business activity, investment and economic transformation, including the interaction between public regulation, private ordering, institutional design and dispute resolution. Every contribution must advance legal scholarship; business and investment identify the principal contexts of inquiry.
The journal places particular emphasis on emerging economies and the Global South, while welcoming scholarship from all jurisdictions. Indonesia and Southeast Asia serve as important sites of inquiry, rather than geographical limits. Contributions should explain how their findings inform wider legal debates, comparative understanding or institutional practice.
LEXANTARA welcomes doctrinal, comparative, empirical and theoretically informed interdisciplinary research. Economic, political and social analysis is encouraged when it advances a clearly identified legal question. The journal seeks to connect careful legal reasoning with credible evidence about how regulation and contracts operate in practice.
Its four interconnected areas are investment and industrial policy; contracts and business governance; investment in economic transitions; and dispute prevention and resolution. It welcomes research that examines the distribution of rights, risks, responsibilities and economic benefits among states, businesses, investors and affected communities. See Aims and Scopes.

Article types
All limits below include the main text and footnotes, and exclude the abstract, bibliography and approved supplementary material. Authors must report each component separately. Moving essential argument into a supplement to evade the limit is not acceptable. Exceptions require advance editorial agreement; invitations do not waive review requirements.
| Type | Normal length | Assessment |

| Review or conceptual article | 6,000–9,000 words | Two independent external reviewers |

| Response or scholarly comment | Normally 1,500–3,000 words | Editorial screening; external review where the comment advances substantial new research or technical claims |
Original research must advance a legal argument through an appropriate method. Review articles must explain source selection and synthesis; conceptual articles must make an identifiable theoretical contribution. Case and legislation notes analyse significance rather than simply recount events. Book reviewers disclose relationships with the book’s authors, publisher and any review-copy arrangements. Each item’s assessment route is identified on its article page.
